The new Primal Zone CCC series represents the pinnacle of European-style nymphing rod design, incorporating advanced materials and engineering for superior on-water performance. At the core of each rod is Primal’s proprietary CCC (Compressed Carbon Chain) Technology, which enhances transmission sensitivity through the blank—allowing anglers to detect the most subtle subsurface takes and micro-transmissions during the drift.

CARBON SCRIM
Our unique Carbon Scrim material is a low mass carbon weave that backs the unidirectional carbon fibre prepregs to create consistent hoop strength without the dampening effect of glass, the result, light rods with more feel.
LOW MASS SCRIM
Primal’s low mass scrim technology maximises hoop strength without dampening the rod via adding additional weight like traditional glass scrims.
LONGITUDINAL FIBRE ALIGNMENT
At Primal we use custom off axis prepregs that, when rolled, ensure the important longitudinal fibres are aligned along the length of the blank. The result is more feel, improved energy flow throughout the cast and lightning quick recovery rates.
